Camden Yards is not private property, it is owned by the Maryland Stadium Authority.
Bought and payed for by us Maryland taxpayers.
Fair point that Camden Yards may be technically owned by an entity of the state government, but the Orioles have a 30 year lease for its use (through 2022). I’m sure that lease gives the Orioles authority to establish rules as to who gets in (you have to have a ticket to get in) and rules of conduct. Otherwise, if it were public property, one would arguably have a right to get in without a ticket (similar to owners of cabins on land leased from the federal Forest Service; they have the right to eject others from the cabin or leased land). I’m a retired lawyer and dealt for years with issues such as whether picketers/handbillers have a right to have access to private property such as shopping centers and factory parking lots to communicate with either employees of employers on the premises or with the public in general.
