NATO ‘Ally’ Germany Won’t Back U.S. in Gulf to Avoid War with Ira
Breitbart ^ | July 31,2019 | CHRIS TOMLINSON

The U.S. has requested naval cooperation from Germany in the Strait of Hormuz as tensions with Iran escalate, but the political leaders of the European nation have refused to assist their NATO allies.

The German Federal Foreign Office said that Washington has approached them to contribute to a new surveillance mission in the Persian Gulf but had rejected the appeal saying there was no prospect of a contribution, German tabloid Bild reports.

Another foreign office source told the tabloid: “Participation in the American strategy of maximum pressure is out of the question for us.” He added the German government was looking instead to use diplomatic means to “de-escalate tensions”. Germany, along with the European Union, has been a keen supporter of the failed Iran nuclear deal, which could be the diplomatic measures to which the spokesman was referring.

A spokesman for the U.S. embassy to Germany confirmed: “We have formally asked Germany to work with France and Britain to help secure the Strait of Hormuz and fight Iranian aggression.”

Germany’s position contrasts strongly with that of South Korea, which is not a member of the NATO alliance, but which nonetheless is considering contributing to the security of the Persian Gulf, Breitbart London reported.

Seeing as how it was the german companies that were selling Iran nuclear technology before the sanctions—— they have a lot of ‘splainin’ to do— seeing as how they are actuall CONTRARY to the membership in NATO’s mission statements.

And are in— to be precise the Russian camp, the energy camp on the liquid natural gas heating fuel pipeline direct from Russia. Follow the cash, and the SOCIALISM.

There are around 30,000 U.S. troops currently stationed in Germany. Now’s a good time to reduce that number to zero.

Perhaps it needs to be repurposed for our 1400 year old battle with the “east”.

So, how about we stand down, and covertly direct Iranians to confiscate a German tanker... to take it.

Then let the REALPOLITIK sink in on the idiots that are running the neo-socialist muslim fueled welfare state that is modern Germany.

They’d change their tune. If they will not assist, NATO will not protect this “member’s” shipping. In keeping with the Treaty.

Behind it all, if you examine operational readiness of the fighters, helicopters, subs, and ships....the Germans simply aren’t in any position to deploy anyone and support an on-going mission. It’s been that way for at least two to three years. Even if they agreed to support with just one ship...it’d be probably thirty days before they could sail, and they’d probably have to be in some port for maintenance in less than 45 days of sailing.

It’s a sad fact...they are a third-rate military force, maybe even less capable than Nigeria.

Germany is a $hit country that has been living off of the US since the end of WWII. We should put a 50% tariff on all their Krautmobiles, including the German-made parts they ship here to their American assembly plants.

With their population now being about one-third moslem it makes sense that they'd side with the 9th Century pig fornicating psychopaths in Tehran.
