More anti-white BS.

Perhaps they should include a lesson or two about Balkanization. Because when folks start to identify by tribe, and not by country, bad things happen.

it is racist, and

"Moreno said the committee also had long discussions
over gendered language in the curriculum.
“We were really trying to do our best to honor
the language that has been historically used,
but also acknowledge contemporary language being used,”
Moreno said, citing as examples the use of “Chicano/a/x”
when saying “Chicano,” and the use of “herstory” or
“hxstory” when saying “history.”

At the tail end of the article...

““We were really trying to do our best to honor the language that has been historically used, but also acknowledge contemporary language being used,” Moreno said, citing as examples the use of “Chicano/a/x” when saying “Chicano,” and the use of “herstory” or “hxstory” when saying “history.”

The fact that the ‘his’ in history has nothing to do with the masculine possessive pronoun is meaningless—it must be replaced! I wonder if words like manual or manipulate, or Himalaya also need to go. How about words like shell or hermit? Let the language purge begin! California will lead the way.

It is surprising to me that so-called “progressive” Democrats now have such strong NOSTALGIA for pre-Civil War slavery.

Plantation owners before that war offered their slaves free food, free housing, free education, free clothes, free health care, freedom from family responsibilities and “guaranteed employment” for life!

All the slaves had to do was “respect” their self-appointed “masters” and NOT think for themselves.

Sound familiar?

IMHO, “Princess Lying Weasel”, who enriched herself by defrauding Native Americans, would feel right at home with the Civil War’s Copperhead “elite”. And surely those Copperheads would warmly welcome another “fork-ed tongue”.

Wonder if the curriculum will address the cultural, scientific and social contributions of the white race to the state of California?

Tucson Unified School District had such a program in the Nineties and through the early 2,000s. The content was so revisionist and radicalizing that the Arizona State Legislature caused it to be removed.

People who grew up here, both Hispanic and Anglo will testify to a past, unique, integrated culture with few problems. That has changed in recent years especially in the generation exposed to such programs. The open anger and hate exhibited by many Hispanics is overt. Many families of mixed origin, of which there are many, walk tightropes trying to live in such an atmosphere.

The lib courts have recently reinstated such a curriculum and Texas just approved the exact same curriculum for its schools.

This is dangerous and divisive. It breeds hate and ignorance because the whole truth is not told.

Balanced and truthful history always demonstrates that there is always blame on both sides and in most individuals and from it we should learn how not to repeat it. These proposed and existing
curricula tend to cause more hate and never healing of the past.

I cannot warn Californians and Texans strongly enough to avoid such destructive programs and to support true, and healing ones.

I suggest they name it “We Will Bury You” this is to reference it to Khruschev’s We will bury you speech.
