No mention of radiation readings, from that one can determine “exposure limits” for safety.
Most ppl would get more ‘rad’ exposure from an airplane flight at 35,000 feet.

Makes sense, that part of the city was surrounded by industry related to oil field supply and shipfitting during WWII.
