Alexander was right. My sister articulates that she votes for whoever promises her the most stuff. She was a smart kid. Got a full ride to Northwestern University in Evanston Illinois where the genius professors taught her to figure out how to “get on the gravy train.” Disgusting.
Every democrat candidate raised their hands for Free healthcare for illegal aliens? Yeah, right. That’ll solve the problem. City people should rebel.
Why don’t city people rebel?
1. They are Democrats to being with
2. The professionals (who should know better) have been brainwashed in school or cowed into voting D at the workplace or by their friends.
3. The welfare class think they’ll be first in line for the free stuff. They are wrong, but they don’t realize it.
4. The middle class Union people probably know better, but they are too heavily invested in the game. They will get the biggest surprise when their promised retirement benefits are sacrificed to pay for the Illegals.
5. The people who do “rebel” don’t do so at the polling place. They do it by flight to a safe haven. But they bring their Liberal ideology with them.
Eventually, things may (may) get so bad that they elect a Giuliani type to clean things up. But that will only be represent a breathing space. After things improve a little, they’ll forget and vote in another Dem.

You’re right. Democrat party is a loose coalition of disparate groups who hate each others guts, but work together insofar as necessary to loot the Public Treasury.

The billions that would be wasted on BS ads,should be allocated to construction firms in Democrat sanctuary cities to build small homes for the homeless as well as to build the Wall on the southern border.

The Dems ALWAYS know exactly what they are doing. They run their cities and districts the way they do for a reason.
While the “horror” is the front cover of the stories of these cities, the back story is the HUGE amounts of graft, corruption and skimming off the Federal Funds being sent to these cesspools to “bail them out” ;
The graft runs BOTH ways-back into Congress-back into the pockets of those in DC that pass the legislation authorizing bailouts, and also into the local pols pockets that created the mess. Its a “wash-wash” both ways which you and I pay for.
This is the PRIME reason there are such messes. Democrat “stupidity” is the cover under which they operate.

The dims know that people who live in the slums recently and accurately described by the President, are going to vote for the dims no matter what. They are pandering for new victims...I mean voters. People who elect Elijah Cummings and Sheila Jackson Lee year after year are too stupid to realize what they are doing. The dims are fine with that., thus, becoming educated becomes “acting white”.
Inflation has hit the vote market really hard.

I deal with the public.
Dealing with non-English speakers is surprisingly easy. Everyone has smartphones for Google translate, and everyone has a good laugh when the translation gets muddled up and you send back what it actually said. They wait without complaint and they seem to be nice to their kids.
Dealing with city residents is not as much fun because many seem determined to take their frustrations out on you or anyone else around. I don’t live in a bad place at all, but identity politics has poisoned many interactions between people.
You’re right that city people should rebel. They pay sky high taxes and what that pays for, increasingly, is new arrivals. I’m just not seeing the grievance farming ending, and the worse things get the more people just seem to dig in.
People get strange when they are desperate, but many will stop spiraling if they can see a way out. I do think some managing of expectations will have to happen. Like, no, you work retail you are not going to live in a McMansion.

The devil made them do it. Literally.
First, these are not the Democrats personal dollars. These are tax dollars so the Democrats don’t mind “wasting” them as most of them end up in the pockets [bank Accounts]of the Democrats. Same with the “freebies” to the illegals. The illegals in turn vote for the Democrats to keep them in office to take care of them and insure the flow of “freebies” continues unhindered. Dat is how the Democrats operate.
