I wish I could respond to you guys that your reservations are unwarranted.

Unfortunately, I cannot.

Explosive and bombshell and the words “to be”, as in “to be indicted” or “to be charged” have come to mean nothing since they’ve been used so much.

The ONE difference is Barr seems for real.

BUT, like another FReeper said, Trump may use these reports to get what he wants from dems in congress.

I am not smart enough to see the connection between dems in congress and the people the AG would be bringing charges against, but perhaps there is something to this idea.

Ciao

Republicans have been in power before, especially when Hillary and Bill and people under Obama were under investigation. We had plenty of hearings and enough material to indict a bunch of people, especially those like Hillary and all of those around her.

Unlike the current congress where the committee chairmen are bold enough to threaten Trump with impeachment/indictment, the republicans let Hillary and company get away with their many crimes. IOW, we have been very disappointed in the past by our republicans and their investigations. Our history proves that we don't follow through. So, pardon our skepticism, but, it's warranted.
