President Trump called Rep. Elijah Cummings a racist while defending himself against accusations of racism for having criticized the Maryland Democrat.
Trump made blunt statements about the current state of Baltimore on Saturday and Sunday, accusing Cummings of failing to represent his district well. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other leading Democrats came to Cummings' defense, accusing Trump of being a racist and attacking minority members of Congress.
"If racist Elijah Cummings would focus more of his energy on helping the good people of his district, and Baltimore itself, perhaps progress could be made in fixing the mess that he has helped to create over many years of incompetent leadership. His radical 'oversight' is a joke!" Trump tweeted.

Cummings has been in office for 36 years and hasn’t done anything to better the lives of his constituents. The fact he is the Chair makes a mockery of our Republic in the fact he is for sure one of the least intelligent people in the room. He got where he is through attrition and winning 18 elections while doing nothing to change the landscape of his section of Baltiwar.
Cummings is a raging racist.

Otherwise, it makes a mockery of the truly evil people of history (and today) who used this concept to promote falsehood about innocent people.

Baltimore is doomed; it has no hope of attracting non-blacks, not just because of riots, but because Americans know there was a Stanleyville II situation there where people attending an Orioles game couldn’t leave the stadium when it was finished because the Simbas in the area might kill them. NOBODY in that stadium will ever forget that situation.
Like Stanleyville, it has no future in terms of serious people.

We live in amazing times. The president calls out cummings for representing an area that is rat and vermin infested.
Do Pelosi and the other socialists defend cummings on the basis that Trump is wrong and the area in question is pristine, or at least okay? No, in their usual manner, they just call him names. It seems that’s all they ever have in defense of their positions.
