They just couldn’t stand the idea that perhaps someone out of the “unwashed masses” might actually achieve “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” by a lifetime of hard work.
No. They had to rob the individual of it so that others wouldn’t follow suit and maybe realize they didn’t need the government for economic survival. Government independence is an anathema to them. Greed is a terrible vice.
That’s the reality of BIG[ger] govt. And only going to get worse as it (illegal, unconstitutionally) grows
