If you read that carefully, you realize they have no intention of actually impeaching, just continue hearings talking about it - for two reasons:

1) Keep "Trump Impeachment" in the liberal news headlines.
2) Convince DOJ that they need PDJT's tax returns.

Patty Murray is no smarter than your average moth. She and several others have said similar things, straight from DNC scripts. The DNC plan is to keep squawking about impeachment until they get the tax returns, which they will then leak to the press during an election year.

Yes the mom in tennis shoes is an idiot. Even worse, she is a corrupt shakedown artist. When first elected, I was in DC to talk to our State delegation about some potential legislation. In talking to a K-street lobbyist, he told me that Patty established quite a name in town early on for her ability to to separate money from professional lobbyists.
