In the old days an immigrant had to have a sponsor...
The sponsor was to find them work, housing and teach them to be Americans..
It was mostly churches that would sponsor them.. or it might be there family..

Yeah. I agree with what she said. But, like snowflakes, she is apologizing for saying it.
But when trash like Martin Quezada says things like “this is Mexico, better get used to it Gringo!” it’s all cool.
Why is Quezada in the Arizona state legislature? Nothing American about him. He shouldn’t be making laws for Americans. All he has to do is jump on I-10, drive south for a couple hours to the I-19 exit in Tucson and 40 minutes later he’s in the country he belongs to: Mexico.

I think Denmark or Sweden tried or still does give a certain amount to its citizens, working or not.
Both parties have been trying to turn the USA into North Mexico.

Snow was a leading figure in Mormon colonization of Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico. Flake was a prominent member of Mormon church who helped settle parts of Arizona, and was imprisoned at the Yuma Territorial Prison for polygamy.

An aside. I worked at the paper mill in Snowflake in the 70s and found an amazing dentist there who did incredible amalgam fillings. I just had the last of his fillings replaced this year!
