In “Will future museums study our migrant cages?” (7/21/19), readers of the Washington Post are presented an article about the Hirshhorn exhibit detailing the architecture of Auschwitz prison cells. Auschwitz is notorious as one of the most evil, sadistic murder sites ever constructed on this planet -- the consequence of Nazi Germany’s “final solution” to murder the Jews of Europe. At least one million Jews were murdered at Auschwitz. The murdering only stopped when Soviet troops approached the camps toward the end of WWII.
The Post can’t help themselves by interjecting the question of how future Americans will view the southern border detention centers, compared to how we view the concentration camp of Auschwitz today.
The detention centers house those trying to get into the United States, not trying to get out. Yes, residents often are housed in uncomfortable conditions while the United States grapples with how to handle the huge uptick in migrants. The conditions and protocols need to be fixed and that requires Congress to act and determine a better way to handle the situation. It should be known that the conditions at the detention centers have not prevented or dissuaded migrants from wanting to enter the country.
And that, according to the Washington Post, is akin to Auschwitz... it belongs in the same conversation.

The Guardian Weekly had an article about a huge gated city being built near Karachi.
People buying in this new gated Pakistani city are fleeing conditions very similar to those being detained.
American has gate guarded communities, as does Britain.
I don’t want to live in a Third World Country. I can’t afford to live in Conyers Farm, Greenwich, CT.
I understand the “migrant cages” are necessary until a Supreme Court verdict allows the USCIS to refuse admittance at the border, without further proceedings.
People granted asylum are entitled to become citizens and buy guns as per Amendment II, even if they really are just Central American thugs. Judges and politicians who don’t want to live under “argento o plumo” conditions need to step up and do their job to secure America’s border.
People can request admittance to the US at an embassy or consulate in Mexico or even in their home country.
These invaders being detained are simply trying to break down our border security.
Law-breaking/disrespecting invaders don’t have guns, but they can buy them once they become US citizens because some stupid leftist judge gave them “asylum” or leftist newspaper refused to print the whole truth.
I’ll happily point to where really rich people live and say ‘ricos’ if a Central American’s gun is pointed at me.

Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) explained how migrant children are being “rented” to help other migrants claim asylum when attempting to cross into the U.S. over the southern border. Graham said migrants have been “renting” their children so that others can claim asylum in the U.S. and his claim that 30% of families apprehended while attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border are not really related. Graham responded by saying that officials at the border have started a “pilot program” where they are testing the DNA of migrant family units at the border and that he was told of “about 60 children” who were being “recycled” at the border to allow more people to claim asylum. “They told us about 60 children that were recycled,” said Graham. “They pick the child up in Central America, they bring them to the United States, everybody’s released, and the child goes back to Central America to do it again.” Watch the video here: ... The “poor huddled masses” coming across the southern border may not be so poor after all. Swiss journalist Urs Gehriger recently visited African migrants who breached the border and hung out on the streets of San Antonio, Texas, waiting to go elsewhere in the country, and he met hostility from people who didn’t want to share details about their experiences, conflicted each other, and had rolls of $100 bills. In a recording played on Fox News, Gehriger asks a migrant from Congo how she got to America. She refused to say.
As Gehriger continued to ask simple questions, he said they backtracked and “were not answering at all.” “They wouldn’t tell me anything about how they got here, and then they started to get aggressive and they were contradicting each other,” he told Laura Ingraham. “One said they ran through the forest, and another said no, there was no forest, and they were actually arguing among themselves,” Gehriger said. He said they started to get “aggressive” after questions about money and help.
Gehriger believes the illegals were coached on giving answers to authorities. “I had the impression that somebody told them not to speak about it,” and acting like “now we’re here, you have to help us, give us money.” “What I found from an aid worker there, they actually do have money. Quite a few of them, because he spotted them under a tree, right in front of the shelter, counting a roll of money with hundred dollar bills,” Gehriger told Ingraham. Hundreds of migrants Congo and Angola were transported to San Antonio the week before, and city officials say they received no warning from the feds that they were coming. The Washington Examiner reports the "fearful migrants" are cleaning out Western Unions in Texas, making huge withdrawals:
