We were in Hungary last years. Locals told us there were French people moving in, and sending their kids to local schools and universities. The locals said the French kids were “undisciplined” and made “trouble” for the teachers etc.

I recall a similar survey done in the San Francisco Bay Area, which showed over 1/3 of people there wanted to move away.

Yet, only a small percentage of people actually end up moving away. While many complain about traffic, high housing prices, and other social problems, relatively few seem to actually abandon the big cities which have such problems .

In a city the size of Paris, 14K over five years is nothing. They have probably been replaced three or four fold by street people and othe immigrants.
