“The stats didn’t see up there is billions of dollars are going into black communities right now because of opportunity zones with Ben Carson and President Trump. Not just that, but you look at over 3.5 million African Americans are off food stamps and now working. […] That’s where we need to get to as the black community and I could go on and on with these policies. I mean you, talk about historical black colleges, right? Blacks need educations, especially the former slave population in America.
We don’t talk about this enough, but the former slave population in America is the poorest, the sickest and the most uneducated group of people in America, but what do we want to talk about? Liberal politicians want to talk about border crisis and letting more illegal immigrants come in here — we have a former slave population that is still hurting and suffering, and it’s just not right, it’s not okay.
Brewer met with Trump over the weekend at the Bedminster Golf Course to discuss “black America,” the former NFL player told ABC News.
The former NFL player said his goal was the “calm this wave” between tensions in the Black community and the president.
“It felt good hearing his passion,” Brewer said.

Many Whites in Appalachia are poor, along with, of course Native American Indians.
Many tribes have stayed at the rock bottom of the economy, unless they decide to leave the reservations.

We, as American Blacks need to let that ‘identity’ go.
That was ages ago. We can’t or should not continue to see ourselves in that way, as a perpetual victim demanding others give us stuff. It’s not a healthy outlook at all.
All races of the world have been enslaved at one time or another. Many still are to this day in other parts of the world. That is not our reality, and to continue clinging to that downtrodden picture is to hold on to a wobbly old crutch.
I’ve emailed the White House several times that I would like to see him do a rally in Detroit or Chicago or Philadelphia or even Harlem or somewhere in the inner city, not just in the suburbs. Even one would be significant.
He asked for their vote 3 years ago & said politicians only come there for votes, so I would like to see him go there early in this campaign cycle.
I had trouble with that one too. If he studied history, he would find that slaves were not allowed to learn to read, but in only the generation after slavery, blacks got to about a 95% literacy rate. That's near 0% to 95% in about thirty years. Historic black colleges were built around thirty years after slavery ended, using mostly donations by blacks, not the government. There is probably no demographic that has improved that much in that short of a time.
It was the move to the democrat party that destroyed the gains blacks made after the Civil War, when they adopted the victim mentality. Today, blacks are not suffering from the after effects of slavery, but from being democrats.

That will never happen. Racism is the most powerful weapon blacks have to use against whites. I almost got into a fight when a black lady called me a racist, and I said “No, I’m an E-Racist” She asked what the hell is that? And I told her that I don’t judge a person by the color of their skin, but the content of their character. Then I asked “Do you know who said that?” And she said “no and I could give a fnck!” I just shook my head. Pathetic.

Exactly right! It’s a self-destructive self-defeating attitude, and we have to rid ourselves of it! It’s the most important thing we can do right now.
I assumed the ex-player must be Colin Kapernick since he says he cares so much about black people but it turns out he only cares about his own virtue signaling and it was someone who actually does care about the black community.
Just keep in mind, many blacks still use that crutch of the race card, and many do not. I wasn’t raised to depend on maintaining an appearance of weakness in order to get my way.
