A Minnesota congressional candidate hoping to unseat Ilhan Omar with promises of being tough on crime faces felony shoplifting charges, according to a report.
Danielle Stella, a 31-year-old supporter of President Trump, was arrested twice this year in the thefts of 279 items worth more than $2,300 from a Target and $40 worth of goods from a grocery store, The Guardian reported.
“I am not guilty of these crimes. In this country I am innocent until proven guilty and that is the law,” the special-education teacher told the news outlet.
“If I was guilty of crimes, I would never run for public office, putting myself in the public eye under a microscope to be attacked by all political sides,” added Stella, who this week described Minneapolis as “the crime capital of our country.”

Hillary ran for POTUS and she was guilty of PLENTY of crimes!!! Of course she is a Dem so it is expected, Omar has also broken many laws BUT of course that’s OK also she’s a Dem!!! I have given up all hope of ANY of these lawbreakers EVER facing consequences, I firmly believe that after the ENTIRE government being weaponized and NOTHING being done about it this country is VERY CLOSE to being Venezuela, Cuba, USSR, China take your pick the rule of law is DONE in this country!! Our immigration laws are being over ridden by activist judges AND every other thing the POTUS does that these activist judges don’t like, the constitution be DAMNED!!!

Does she deny the arrests or just guilt of the crimes.
Denies guilt. The arrests are a matter of public record.
