Death penalties are a scam by lawyers to keep making money off of the convicted and to drain County budgets until they take the death penalty off the table. I know what Im talking about, believe me. Just went through one.

I am a County Supervisor and I watched a death penalty case go through the system. After four years and over a million dollars they hadn't even seen the inside of a courtroom. After asking many questions, and receiving shocking answers about the system and speaking up loudly against it, (nobody is put to death anymore in Arizona) the County Attorney decided to take the death penalty off the table. The child killer/rapist received life without the possibility of parole until 2054.
Oh, but wait.. Now come the appeals. It's never ending with lawyers getting rich. Oh and one other piece of information: I knew the killer.

I certainly agree that the system is such that no matter, the lawyers get rich. Not sure why the death penalty should be any more expensive than life sentencing, but you know more about the reality of that. I would only argue that we should get back to where the death penalty is a viable deterrent for some criminals. I can only guess as to how many obstacles stand in the way of that.

Another one of the five is Lezmond Mitchell, who was found guilty by a jury in Arizona of stabbing a 63-year-old grandmother and forcing her young granddaughter to sit next to her lifeless body on a car journey before slitting the girls throat. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
2015: But in a harsh dissent, Judge Stephen Reinhardt said Mitchell deserves a new sentencing hearing because the defense strategy of depicting him as a good guy to jurors was no strategy at all.
Reinhardt is in Hell, and his sociopath buddy Lezmond is going to join him there, to be eternally raped by demons.
If I ever get out West way, I'll be sure to stop by Stevie Reinfardt's grave and leave a bag of used burritos and a 12-pack of used beer...

I am truly blessed to be an elected official in the most conservative County in AZ, if not the whole West.

I suspect the prison population are wondering who the five are....Just like the millions wondering WHO ICE will come visit next.
Just like the dozens of traitors on Barr's and US Attorney Durham 's list that are being investigated for their respective roles in the attempted coup against President Trump.
Ditto the Obama White House traitors.
Clapper, Comey and others deserve individual mentions as do Hillary and Hussein.
Hang many of them. shoot a few too so that the message is clear to future generations of traitors.

I’m opposed to that, because that would violate the 8th amendment to the constitution:
“Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.”
