GOP Rep. Gohmert tears into Mueller over Peter Strzok, length of Russia probe: 'You perpetuated injustice!'
Rep. Louie Gohmert blasted former Special Counsel Robert Mueller over his handling of the Russia investigation, accusing him of "perpetuating injustice" during a fiery line of questioning at Wednesday's House Judiciary Committee hearing.
The Texas Republican took particular issue with Mueller hiring FBI agent Peter Strzok to work on the investigation. Strzok was later removed by Mueller after text messages between Strzok and his lover, former FBI lawyer Lisa Page, showed their disdain for Trump.
Mueller said he learned of Strzok's animus toward Trump in the summer of 2017, but did not know before Strzok started working on the investigative team.

Nadler wanted Mueller’s opening statement that he did not absolve Trump of obstruction. Obstruction of justice will be the rationale of impeachment. However Mueller, his professional competence and credibility are being decimated by unrelenting Republican questioning. Mueller seems helpless. Nadler may try to cancel the afternoon session. Letting him testify and be questioned for five hours was a huge Democratic mistake.
Strzock and his paramour Page weren’t removed because emails between them showed “sustain for Trump.” Mule-er and the whole corrupt crew hated Trump. They were removed because the emails were revealed to the public. In other words, they got caught so they had to be jettisoned.

It’s actually worse than that. He believes it wasn’t in his job description to determine the validity of the Steele Dossier and the charade it perpetrated. In other words, his methodology is wilful blindness. That’s a dangerous prosecutor.
