Nunes just set the foundation for the set-up that started it all. Contrary to trying to throw soundbites, you can bet Nunes knew exactly what he was doing and it is now on the record. Nunes knows that Downer and Mifsud contradict what is stated in the special counsel report.
I trust Nunes and also trust that he knows far more about this than we ever will so if that is what he used his time for, he had a very good reason beyond political grandstanding as most members strive for.
The republicans have had 3 years to orchestrate this “cross examination”.. They have a set-time, so I expect that they have their gameplan for each member to ask specific questions.
Essentially, Nunes is the lead-off batter, and they are loading the bases.
I suspect the Mifsud trail leads to the Obama CIA or State dept controlling him. The obama admin created a pretext to start the spying on Trump.
