You’d think that with the pending outbreaks of all of those diseases common to less developed nations and the middle ages
that residents would see that their communities are in retrograde.
The must be blinded by all of the fabulous trangender shows at their public libraries.
Oh believe me, there is concern. In my Next Door group, there are frequent posts regarding illegal activities in areas where there are homeless encampments. Peeking over fences, drug use, defecation, breaking into yards and garages, and just general odd behavior, in alleyways, doorways, behind businesses, behind dumpsters, in the middle of the street and on sidewalks. In will chime the bleeding heart, how can you be so cruel, you could be in the same situation, they are still people, still human beings, etc. Never mind the activities in residential areas, by schools, churches, grocery stores etc.
The city has taken a hand off approach. They cleaned out some encampments about 15 years ago and got sued to the gills.
Recently a homeowner reported repeatedly trash and debris left by some squatters in the alley behind their house. The city response was that the homeowner must clean up the mess themselves or be fined!
