This started long before DiBlasio was around; David Dinkins let them run wild during the Crown Heights riot decades ago - and that was when many of those that thought the blight of the late 60s and 70s would eventually pass finally realized it never would.
NYC is a perfect example of what happens when millions with no stake in anything, who contribute nothing, are given the right to vote. When this country was created, the Founding Fathers understood this, so only taxpayers (at that time, property owners) could vote. The death spiral of NYC steepens because as normals flee the disaster that has been created, the city reaches further and further into the Third World to replace them.
400,000 people live in public housing in NYC. Think about that.
Citizenship should be earned, not granted.
