Franken was a despicable person through and through. Several times he made fun of people with disabilities and his staff had to restrain him. He is just a thoroughly awful man. He must have been horrible to work with.
The few times I saw him perform as an actor, I was mystified as to why what he did was “entertaining.” I suppose it is like the time I got satellite service so I could listen to “comedy” stations. After a short time, I canceled. Hour after hour of making fun of good people and cursing is not entertaining. They weren’t funny.
I met him when he was in charge on a movie set. Omg, he set a new low for the definition of a-hole.
His Saturday Night Live stint seemed to help him.
Even part of that hit like a thud on the floor when it was offered up.
By and large, I’d have to agree with you.
I don’t get it. His platform made it impossible for me to ever support him.
