Life on the U.S.-Mexico border involves everything from drug-trafficking and rape to encounters with “gang-bangers” and “three-time felons,” according to the founder of Arizona Border Recon.
Tim Foley, who is deeply familiar with the threats that come from living just north of the border, described what he sees every day while patrolling in an interview with the Daily Caller News Foundation.
“The gang-bangers are pretty much three-time felons, so if they get caught, they’re going to prison for the rest of their lives … These guys have no problem banging it out or shooting anybody,” he explained.

Rather than taking a camera....perhaps some serious firepower is called for. These Invaders need eradication.
Absolutely no question about that. Those types in the video are not folks looking for a job. A reasonable distance north of the border, and swat teams would be tacked up with overwhelming firepower.
We do that at the border and the cartels run women and children with them. The MSM/international press would go wild over the "humanitarian crisis" and treasonous RINOs would join with socialist dems and kick Trump out of office.

I read the entire document. Looks pretty solid and quite reasonable to me.
Just sharing that they do indeed carry more than a camera. :)
Mostly seems reasonable other than the “no optics in rifles” thing. I’d kick back about that.

Their hands are tied legally, They can only use their weapons if in a true provable life threatening situation. This type of situation would be fairly close anyhow. Hard to justify that’s the case from 300 meters away. :)

Unless of course you’re being shot at from 300 meters away. Then some optics could come in handy.

There are all sorts of endangered specie that live in the border area. The most protected of all is the illegals, and it doesn’t matter if it is gang bangers or cartel smugglers or both. The socialists protect them over citizens every time.
Yes, we are told we are only to observe and report. Of course we have the right to self defense but with the socialist outcry that would result...do we really?
I believe that is what got Rob Krentz murdered. He was armed but for whatever reason his weapon was not fired. I personally believe he hesitated because those of us that live along the border know we have no rights when it comes to illegals. The socialists will always support illegals over citizens. I believe his hesitation in knowing that cost him his life.
Judge is going to rule that these guys are out looking for trouble without legal authority to do so in the first place, no justification for being there to be shot at let alone justification to shoot back. Even our military there right now cannot fire back and have to evade deadly confrontation instead.
Should be able to, but there have already been precedent cases where Ranchers were convicted of murder for doing that very same thing to save life, limb, and their own property. That brings it back around full circle. You have to make every effort to run and hide first.
Unfortunately judges have ruined true justice, Only if cornered and there is nowhere to run would you stand a chance at justifiable deadly force. Even in Az, I know, I live here.
Yep, The only way you even stand a chance is “maybe” if you are cornered with nowhere to run and are in immediate and imminent danger and you fear for your life. Still... maybe... Depends on the judge you get.

Imagine you have to defend yourself against an illegal; then imagine what AOC and her gang would say about it with the full support of the propaganda media.
I live here and I will defend myself if I need to but I am under no illusion about what would happen next.
Exactly. How the laws are written bear absolutely no weight at all against public opinion or a biased judge and jury.
