Beginning last week, Kazakhstans government is intercepting all HTTPS traffic inside the country, ZDNet reports. HTTPS is a protocol meant to offer encryption, security, and privacy to users, but now the nations internet service providers are forcing all users to install certificates that enable pervasive interception and surveillance.
On Wednesday, Kazakh internet users were redirected to web pages instructing them to install the governments root certificate in their web browser, which enables whats called man in the middle interception of internet traffic, decryption, and surveillance.
We reached out to browser developers and certificate authorities Google, Microsoft, and Mozilla to ask how they will deal with Kazakhstan re-encrypting internet traffic for surveillance. I believe Mozilla fired that founder who was once found to have donated $1,500 to some conservative cause..?
Mozilla co-founder Brendan Eich stepped down Thursday as CEO, just days after his appointment. He left the nonprofit maker of the Firefox browser after furious attacks, largely on Twitter, over his $1,000 contribution to support of a now-overturned 2008 gay-marriage ban in California.

he personally donated to a popularly approved proposition stating marriage is between a man and a woman.
Homofascists illegally leaked his name as a donor (from illegal obtained IRS paperwork) and forced his ousting.
It shows that anyone who voted in support of that proposition could likewise be subject to termination. It’s crazy and un-American.
Big Brother Barry and his Hammer could show them how its done.
Betting China and NK will implement this real soon, and the USA, if a dem is elected pres.
Coming to America in 2021 unless President Trump is reelected.
Just like Facebook?
Coming to a former Constitutional Republic near you....
If ya don think the way we wants ya ta think, it’s redumacation camp for ya.
Look at the chi-coms and their little Uighur problem/puts em all in them camps til they come around.
And if they fail to comply, harvest and sell them organs.
Didn’t Obama and the Intelligence thugs attempt this crap too?
He is he one who started and now owns “Brave” browser.
In linux could ipset/iptables be used to block country IP addresses and work in conjunction with Firefox? I looked for Firefox addons that might do this and could not find anything.
