Go look on YouTube for the name Yuri Bezminov. A KGB defector in the 1970s, he predicted all that is going on and it being the creation of the involvement of the KGB in undermining our country by infiltrating our culture, media, and schools from the 1950s on.

Reasonable. Even as I wrote my previous reply, I knew the world had changed with WWII and the atomic bomb, which is why we went to a standing army post-WW II.
Then with the cold war, and then the war on terror, we’ve been in a steady state of low-grade war.
