I totally agree with your comment but what’s the point of proving anything when our laws will never be applied to anything she does? Some people can do whatever they want because they are perceived as “victims” of one sort or another. She’s in one of those de facto protected classes.

Definitely the brother. Her own immigration was not the result of this fraud, so it could remain valid - but she could be liable for criminal prosecution. Her status as legislator is unlikely to protect her legally from prosecution.

Happily, immigration fraud is a Federal offense, rather than State. So AG Barr would have authority to investigate and prosecute.
