I get that. 100%. In my lifetime I’ve had Presidents Reagan and Trump. For me, that will have to be enough. I don’t see anyone on the horizon.
And you’re right. I have SO downsized my life and moved SO far into the hillside that nothing in DC can touch me. ;)
And that’s a sad, sad state of affairs because I know so many other Patriots are feeling the very same way. :(

Being away from a lot of people does not mean you are alone.
You have so many friends here and a wonderful way to stay in touch with all of them.
I think we both place a high value on our FRiends on Free Republic, and exchanging ideas is great.
But I won’t miss the mealy-mouthed politicians who have no loyalty nor courage as they lower their voices and their heads as they speak with the insufferable media.
Well, I won’t give them another thought tonight. I’ll just think about the lovely President Trump rally and hit the hay.

I don’t regret voting for Nixon. I think he was a great president, just stupid in the way he surrounded himself with losers and disloyalists.
Reagan was the best up until Trump, who is in a whole other league.
He’s a throw back to the best of the best in who we put in that office. Washington, Jackson, Lincoln, Roosevelt (both), Truman, Eisenhauer even Kennedy.
I like Pence, and see him taking the baton in the same direction, but probably much more spiritually.
