They are worth every penny.
Compare their salaries to the costs of what illegal immigration costs this country - and you see they are saving us many many millions in expenses.
I say we give these non profits even more money.
ELCA/Lutheran Social Services and Catholic Charities have to make up for lack of funds in the collection plate somehow.
They aren't the only snouts in the trough, just two of the bigger ones.
