Rep. Al Green says the US House will vote between 4:30-5 p.m. ET today on his articles of impeachment for President Trump; it remains unclear if Democratic leadership will move to vote to table the resolution, vote to send to cmte. or vote to proceed with the resolution.

Actually, whether it passes or fails, it is a win for Trump. If it passes, then the Senate will b*tch-slap the House for passing Impeachment with no substance, and the Dems will probably not be able to bring it up again. If it fails, then the issue will have to drop off the table for the Dems. Heads I win, tails you lose. Until they brought it up, it was a threat that they could run to the press with. Once it is brought up, it ceases to be an issue. Green is screwin the pooch on this one because it takes it off the table for bringing up during the actual presidential campaign. It will be done and gone with no ability to make political hay from it.

I was only kidding about the mocking. As for voting...I have,in my lifetime,voted for four elected Presidents,one elected Senator and several elected Governors.

Yes,my votes for President have never effected the Electoral Vote but it did count toward the national vote...which is at least symbolically important.
