Exactly what the Nazis did when they rebranded it National Socialist, or Bernie Sanders tries to do by calling it Democratic Socialist.
It is an unending quest to fool enough people with the sweet sounding lies of socialism (free stuff!) to seize power.
That is all it ever was, a lie to gain power.
