I'm surprised to see this. I was pretty sure pole smokin' Polis was going to make a big deal about it coming to Denver.

I’d suggest either Death Valley or Ruby Ridge.

Maybe we can move ATF to Grand Junction too.

Ohhh. Not Black Lives Matter?
I thought why? Why would Black Lives Matter move to Grand Junction CO?
Are there even any black people IN Grand Junction CO?
To: dware
Good to get more of Fedzilla out of DC, but Gardner still needs a primary challenger.

If the Constitution was anything more than a nice looking piece of paper the BLM would be re-located to the dust-bin of history.
Yeah, the Founding Fathers were all about the Federal Government controlling enormous swaths of land. That was exactly what they had in mind.

Back when I was younger, and I used to travel on a motorcycle quite a bit. I traveled through that area several times. It is a beautiful Scenic area definitely worth the trip to anybody that hasn’t been there.

If the Constitution was anything more than a nice looking piece of paper the BLM would be re-located to the dust-bin of history. They were only there to manage the lands until they could disperse them under the Homestead Act. The same Homestead Act that Congress ended in the early 1970's.

Move it to Colorado? Might as well move it to San Francisco.
A better choice would have been Wyoming, Utah, or Montana.

Much of the genius of these relocations is that you are going to get an entirely different set of people willing to live in and work in these more remote areas.
Agriculture to Kansas City? Maybe you get people from agricultural backgrounds who understand farmers. BLM to Grand Junction? Maybe you will get people from ranch and outdoor backgrounds who instinctively understand how to achieve some balance between the two.

Going to be a lot of BLM employees who are unwilling to move. That is great because it is a bloated and had been largely and unaccountable department. Great way to slash the number of people working in the department.
To: dware
This is a good start. Once the agency is more decentralized, hand it over to the states. They know their environs better, and 90% of BLM land is west of the Mississippi.
Kansas City getting some employees from Washington too.
