PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Authorities say two men opened fire at a crowded west Philadelphia playground, wounding seven people.
Police say several hundred people were at Baker Playground in the city’s Overbrook neighborhood, where a cookout and basketball games were taking place, when the gunfire began just before 9 p.m. Saturday.
One person was shot several times, while others were wounded in the arms or legs or had graze wounds to the face or head. All were reported in stable condition.
Philadelphia’s police commissioner, Richard Ross, said the 18- to 25-year-old shooters weren’t firing at each other, but into the crowd. The motive remains unknown. Officers found 20 shell casings at the scene.

This wasn’t an unarmed woman being mugged by thugs. This was a feral picnic being targeted by other ferals.
I compare the human race to K-9’s. I divide us into two groups. First, there are the domesticated dogs. Second, there are wolves and coyotes. The former represents civilization, the latter, the “third world countries” and fatherless government housing residents.
When the latter mix with the former, It is important for the domesticated dogs to know that the other ones, though they look like dogs, don’t think like the rest of us and are very dangerous. Usually the most effective solution is to put them down when they act out or, better yet, separate them from the rest of us. I think that is the whole point of the government housing being separate from the rest of us.
I remember when I worked in Downtown Seattle. Around third and Pike, at 6:00 became a different place. The dogs had gone home, and the coyotes roamed the streets.
