You ARE ahead of schedule on rain? Shocker! But good.
We are, too, thanks to all the rain we got in Feb. but we need it now for the crops. Our corn could use a little more before it’s through growing and starts the next stage getting ready to be harvested.
But there are a lot of farmers here who planted later and their corn really needs rain.
I was surprised, too. But our “ahead of schedule” means 9.5 inches. LOL! Our yearly average is about 13 inches, so to us, it’s pretty good.
Hope that corn gets the rain it needs, and it looks like, with ol’ Barry hanging around, that it just might. And I hope it benefits the farmers who planted late, too.
