P&G has it in for Trump, in part because of the admin’s sanctions on Iran. Which P&G has done biz in and would like to do again, in spite of Iran’s execrable women’s rights record.

In the US, which is all that really matters, from 2016 to 2018, women's games generated about $50.8 million in revenue compared with $49.9 million for the men. The women are not paid as much because their collective bargaining representatives negotiated a shitty agreement for them.
Let them hire better negotiators.
I doubt P&G has always been this way. My thinking is that over the years big companies like this hired these leftist kooks based on their supposed higher education credentials. Now the big corporations are infested with this kooks just like government. The only cure is to bury them in the market.
The men made less because they failed to qualify for the world cup for the first time in nearly 30 years. With an expanded field of teams starting in 2026 that is just about guaranteed to never happen again.

the women’s team has always been paid less because they get far less advertising dollars.
Including from P&G that demanded to pay less because female soccer is worth less.
