Well I guess my high school government teacher(and book) in the 80s, and my college government professor (and book) in the 90s were already in on the scam. Because I clearly remembering being taught that there were two types of citizens, natural born and naturalized. I remember this because in high school I was both surprised by this and thought it was dumb.

Since this issue of citizen versus NBC is so important can you tell me where on a birth certificate this difference is marked? I mean it’s very easy to determine a naturalized citizen because of their naturalization papers. So I would imagine we would mark this distinction between citizen and natural born citizen on birth certificates.

You have it correct. There are only two types of citizens. What you have backwards is which status is the higher bar. You seem to believe that everyone here not submitting themselves to a naturalization process must be natural born. Not so. That is backwards. Natural born is the higher bar. As such, everyone here not natural born, must have been naturalized (or be foreign aliens). So how were citizens among these naturalized? Folks have been naturalized by adoption, marriage, and decree as well as through the legal naturalization process defined by Congress you are familiar with. For example, the citizens of Puerto Rico were collectively naturalized as U.S. citizens under the Jones Act in 1917. Being a naturalized citizen is easy. Being a natural born citizen is the limited quantity. Your high school government teacher should have discussed the myriad of means to become naturalized. Mine did. There remains only one set of circumstances permitting one to be natural born ... born in country of parents who are citizens.

The founders clearly established three kinds of citizens and only one was eligible for the presidency, the Natural Born Citizen, the other two were only eligible to be Congressmen.

They did not put things with no validity in the constitution and meant what they said.

In the 50s and 60s it wasn’t even discussed in the vast majority of civics classes and was never a real issue. My hs education was much superior to the crap they push today and actually had truth in it. I feel privileged.

The information you discuss can be extrapolated from the birth certificate if the parents names as on it. But County Clerks are not charged with investigating any further than the unsworn statements.
