He either had his evidence blown up, or he wants it to “appear” it was, and it’s really somewhere else. You can’t blow up every bank vault in Switzerland, or maybe it’s on some other island.

With the size of the list and frequency of visits but such high profile and well connected people, I’d be very surprised if some of them didn’t get nervous and have Epstein spied on, specially after he was convicted and weakened.
This turnstile turns both ways. He may have been cleverly enticing big wigs into his web, but you if you’re going to pose a threat to big players then that means you’re in the big game.

Somebody was claiming the dome assembly houses the components for an elevator system. The structure is just the entrance to an underground facility.
