Trump trashes 'lame duck failure' Paul Ryan in response to new criticisms

President Trump unleashed on Paul Ryan in a late-night tweetstorm in response to criticisms the former speaker made in an upcoming book.

In the book, "American Carnage," Ryan recalled his difficult working relationship with the president. He told Politico's Tim Alberta that Trump "didn't know anything about the government" and that he and others "helped to stop him from making bad decisions."

“Because, I’m telling you, he didn’t know anything about government . . . I wanted to scold him all the time," Ryan reportedly said in the book. “Those of us around him really helped to stop him from making bad decisions. All the time. We helped him make much better decisions, which were contrary to kind of what his knee-jerk reaction was. Now I think he’s making some of these knee-jerk reactions.”

I blame Trump for letting Paul Ryan call the shots for two years

That’s why we don’t have a wall and we have a border crisis

If Republicans do take back the House in 2020 I sure hope they make a better choice of Speaker than they did last time.

Does anyone remember ANYTHING good for the country that Paul Ryan actually accomplished? I sure don’t.

Now, compare Paul Ryan’s lack of accomplishments with Trump’s EARTHSHAKING ACHIEVEMENTS ... and Trump is just getting started. Makes Ryan look like the pathetic little nothingburger that is his essence.

Trump doesn’t have to know how government works. The government needs to know how Trump works. The way government works has gotten us to 22 trillion dollars of national debt with no end in sight. The way government works is why we have no border security and why millions nay billions of people the world over want to come to America and get on welfare. The way government works is how failing banks and car companies are still in business long after they were due to die in the marketplace. The way government works is why everyone in the world should have health care at the expense of Americans who think they are in control of how their money is spent. The way government works is why we start paying for things but never stop even after nobody wants or needs them any more.

Paul Ryan could not be more like Esau if he tried. A double minded snake.. He betrayed his oath of office to protect and defend our Constitution. Let the devil have him.

President Trump is not the ‘king’. Paul Ryan took an oath of office. What he did is all on him.. We all will have opportunity to give account when judgment counts...

Paul Ryan is a small-minded individual that craves acceptance — from anyone.

Ryan prevented/stopped all Trump wanted to get done, that first year. Its obvious they want gov to run like they programmed it to run... down. I wanted a change. Ryan can’t admit his way was wrong.

Ryan, in his own mind, is a visionary, an architect. He turned his attention to those who stroked is ego. He exploited conservatism to serve his precious needs.

Ryan is an asshole.
