Only because he recognized their non-existent authority over his duly vested powers as president.

The Constitution gives the Judicial no such carte blanche authority over the Executive, but Trump keeps letting them fix a leash on him anyway.

Trump’s own party won’t support him. He’s riding solo in the swamp. I don’t know what you expect.
