House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Thursday publicly warned illegal immigrants not to open the door if an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent is knocking.
“An ICE deportation warrant is not the same as a search warrant. If that is the only document ICE brings to a home raid, agents do not have the legal right to enter a home. If ICE agents don’t have a warrant signed by a judge, a person may refuse to open the door and let them in,” Pelosi, reading from a card, said at her weekly press conference.
The speaker’s comments come as the Trump administration is once again preparing to launch sweeping raids across the U.S.
ICE will target roughly 2,000 illegal immigrants who have ignored court orders to leave the country. The raids, which will be conducted across 10 major U.S. cities, will begin on Sunday, and be the first of an ongoing effort by the administration to apprehend and deport illegal immigrants.

One would assume the warrants have a “no knock clause”. Go get ‘em ICE! I’m sure the warrants are for folks with crimes in addition to illegal entry.

She is the speaker of the House. She sent a signal to illegals, who are already under a deport order, to resist. That is not how gov’t is supposed to work. It is unconscionable that someone in her lofty position would give such power of suggestion to these lawbreakers to continue in their lawbreaking.
It’s like she’s saying (as in everything else these past 30 months), “Resist!”
She has created a new excuse, a new mitigating circumstance for them to go back to court and ask for a re-hearing based on mixed messaging from the gov’t. Court date will be set for 2022.
