No plan is what the government had for 200 years and it worked pretty well.
True. But government changed that. If we're going back to it then the Republicans need to be able to show how it is in everyone's best interest. Right now they don't have a coherent message.
That’s what I was thinking. Asking what is the plan if it is struck down is the wrong question. They are making the assumption that there should be a government “plan” - they are trying to keep obamacare, just maybe in another form. The answer is there is no plan because they will take their time and re-evaluate if there even should be a government plan. (hint, I’m fairly certain the answer to that is “No!”)
Why post a Huffpo propaganda piece here?
No Plan is exactly what the health insurance industry needs but Marxists are not in control so that cannot work. Is there a way around Medicare so you don’t have to get on it?
Bingo! Thank you!!
Until about 1960, which it has averaged 2-3x the rate of inflation increases each year. It’s gone from 3% of GDP to 20% with no better outcomes.
Imagine Reagan saying:
"Tear down that wall and replace it with high tech surveillance"
or
"We seek to topple the evil of Communism and replace it with a kinder friendlier form of totalitarianism"
