"I can emphatically state that Mr. Acostas recollection of this matter is completely wrong."
"As the State Attorney for Palm Beach County for 16 years (1993-2009), which included the entire period of the Epstein investigation, I can emphatically state that Mr. Acosta's recollection of this matter is completely wrong,"
"Mr. Acosta brokered a secret plea deal that resulted in a Non-Prosecution Agreement in violation of the Crime Victim's Rights Act."
"Mr. Acosta should not be allowed to rewrite history."

According to this article from 2015, Krischer refused to prosecute Epstein on any of the major charges. A picture of Krischer is on the left-hand side of the page down a bit, and this is where the first mention of Krischer is made
Another article I read said that Krischer refused to have Epstein arrested, and instead called for a Grand Jury.
That info is in this article from 2018. Krischer is covered in the section "Justice Not Served":
I just posted links to a couple of articles regarding this.
No contest. I believe Acosta over a toad prosecutor from Palm Beach County where the county government is controlled by the Democrats. I can easily see Krischer letting Epstein off just to satisfy his party’s royalty.
“...but this guy Acosta for whatever reason did something very wrong.”
The evidence appears to be accumulating showing the opposite to be true. But don’t let the facts get in the way of a good rant.
Obviously someone’s not telling the truth.
As a rule I would never take the word of a Democrat politician from Palm Beach or Broward counties.
Don't know how factual it is, but a quick search came up with this info from Wikipedia:
"After the federal government agreed to charging Epstein on one count under state law, the prosecution convened a grand jury. Palm Beach Police Chief Michael Reiter later accused the state attorney of being too lenient and then transferred the case to the FBI. The grand jury returned a single charge of felony solicitation of prostitution, to which Epstein pleaded not guilty in August 2006."
Mueller was the Director of the FBI at that time. Alberto Gonzales was Attorney General from February 3, 2005 to September 17, 2007. I'm assuming he would have had the authority to assign Acosta at the U.S. Attorney in this case.
This guy is full of it. What undoubtedly happened was that the local police, upset that the local states attorney was obviously going to give this guy a slap on the wrist, contacted the federal authorities to intervene. When the federal authorities started to threaten federal prosecution, the defendant and his lawyers work the case out in state court where the defendant received significantly more punishment than he would have. This happens all the time. The federal authorities sit in the background and the very threat of federal prosecution entices the defendant and his lawyers to work the case out in state court.
I lived in Florida from 1992. From what I remember Krischer was a snake.
The leftists have been editing Wiki like crazy for the last few days to spin the Epstein case against Trump. It is much more enlightening to Google articles that were written a month ago and previously.
Krischer wasn’t interested in a big Democrat donor’s child molesting because he was too busy going through Rush’s garbage trying to put him in prison for becoming addicted to pain medication after back surgery.
Its who. If you can replace who with he its who. If you can replace whom with him its whom.
“The problem for Acosta was that they were state charges....not federal”
That’s what I’m thinking. The decisions were made by the State of Florida, weren’t they?
gotcha.
This is BS. These were charges of violations of Florida law and this putz was State’s Attorney. He could have told Acosta to take a hike and prosecuted the case himself, but he punted.
Michael Reiter (police officer)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Michael Reiter is an American security advisor who previously served as chief of police of Palm Beach, Florida, from 2001 to 2009. Having served in the Palm Beach Police Department since 1981, he has been involved in several high-profile criminal investigations in the affluent town with several nationally-prominent residents, including the overdose death of David Kennedy and the criminal investigation into Jeffrey Epstein. Reiter came to international attention since the mid-2000s when he initiated the first inquiry into Epstein,[1][2][3] a billionaire investor who was accused of involvement in multinational child sex trafficking and having sex with a minor, and was later convicted for soliciting an underage girl for prostitution.[3]
n 2004, Reiter initiated the first inquiry into Jeffrey Epstein and his possible involvement in child prostitution.[5] Prior to the investigation, Epstein had made donations to the PBPD for the purchase of additional equipment needed to investigate a crime in which Epstein was the victim.[12] However, Reiter grew suspicious of the billionaire after his officers received reports of suspicious activity around Epstein’s homesuch as young women entering and exiting the home at odd hours and loitering on the block.[5] The department launched a several-months-long investigation and gathered “sworn statements from five alleged victims and 17 witnesses.”[13] Reiter requested that Epstein be charged with at least four counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor with girls as young as 14 years old.[1] The chief also returned the recent donations to PBPD back to Epstein.[14]
After turning the evidence over to prosecutors, Reiter was “outraged” to learn that the State Attorney’s office offered Epstein a plea agreement.[15] On May 1, 2006, the PBPD requested an arrest warrant be issued for Epstein’s arrest, and Reiter wrote a letter to Palm Beach County State Attorney Barry Krischer, “all but demanding that [Krischer] recuse himself from the case.”[2][16] At a grand jury hearing in July 2006, state prosecutors obtained an indictment of one count of felony solicitation of prostitution.[13]
Again dissatisfied by the outcome, Reiter contacted the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the federal prosecutor for the Southern District of Florida, Alexander Acosta.[17] Reiter also sent letters to the each of victim’s parents explaining that he believed justice had not been served.[3][18]
Epstein, under threat of federal prosecution,[19] agreed to plead guilty to the state charge of soliciting an underage girl for prostitution,[3] served a 13-month jail sentence, and was registered as a sex offender.[20]
This story by the police chief who did the investigations backs Acosta’s story.
Good article on this case from NYT 2006

Alan Dershowitz flew down and met privately with Krischer, Recarey said. And the shenanigans that happened, I dont think Ive ever seen or heard of before.
Police reports show that Epsteins private investigators attempted to conduct interviews while posing as cops; that they picked through Reiters trash in search of dirt to discredit him; and that the private investigators were accused of following the girls and their families. In one case, the father of one girl claimed he had been run off the road by a private investigator, police and court reports show.
Who do you trust? A Democrap prosecutor from Palm Beach Florida or a guy who works for Trump????
Uhhhhh, let think. (Sarcasm)
