Same thing happened to me because of my age. They want young people who will work for 2/3 what I was paid.
Our legal immigration system is as much of a problem as illegal immigration. They will both destroy our country unless somethings changes. We need to hold all republicans who support this kind of garbage accountable. They have to be replaced as soon as possible. If we can’t do it in republican primaries than we should try doing it third party.

The Left wants POWER over you and YOUR money. That’s ALL they care about, and they’ll use “fairness”, the weather, and anything else they can to do it. As Trump said, “They’re not coming after me, they’re coming after YOU.”

I hope the H1b immigrants realize that this is works only for a single generation. Their US citizen children will be replaced by others when the kids graduate college.
They also get affirmative action hiring preference as will all of those “Dreamers” who Democrats and Republicans want to keep in the country. Anyone out there applying for a job recently? What’s the first question you’re asked if you’re using an online application system or get an Affirmative Action questionnaire after you apply?? Question 1—Are you Hispanic? Then, are you African American, Asian or Pacific Islander, Native American, indigenous person, etc.? Caucasian Americans are identified by the Affirmative Action category, “Non-Hispanic White.” That category is usually last. If your ethnic background is of Northern European origin, you’re out of luck. You’re a non-person according to social equity offices and hiring managers.
As if anyone’s ethnic background or skin color should matter, but it does. Employers want to brag about the diversity they’re promoting in their hiring practices. Universities, big business, big media, all of them, are backing this reverse discrimination to the hilt. That’s only another reason why unlimited immigration from third world countries is destroying and will continue to destroy opportunities for white Americans, many of whom have ancestors who fought in the Revolutionary War or joined the Union Army and put their lives on the line to free slaves. Absolutely disgusting what is being done in the name of promoting inclusion and diversity.
And Trump, unfortunately, doesn’t seem to be aware of this. He’s always voicing support for Dreamers and foreigners whose skills, education, and work ethic, supposedly, are superior to Americans’ and are desperately needed. Social equity officers in personnel offices love this. It’s not just about recruiting and importing non-Americans workers so you can pay them less; it’s also about promoting inclusion and diversity policies by employing more non-whites and Green Card holders. Mr. President, wake up, please, and remember who put you in office.
These people shouldn’t even be getting visas at all.

This is absolutely outrageous and I’m afraid Trump will sign it.
Notice the media blackout on the bill—Passed with 140 REPUBLICAN votes in the House and reported to have 20+ Republican sponsors or supporters in the Senate. They are all trying to sneak this through and dump it on Trump’s desk for his signature. Haven’t heard him say no, so suspect he’ll sign it. Sad for American workers, sad for America. Can we stop it?
