Breakthrough – Things Making Sense Now…
Lots of things going on in/around the two legal cases involving Michael Flynn today. The origination of the DOJ shift in position involves the indirect case (EDVA) where Flynn is/was a witness in the FARA (Foreign Agent Registration Act) case against Bijan Rafiekian and the Flynn Intel Group.
Hat Tip to Techno-Fog for a litany of legal filings assembled today [132 pages here]. This is somewhat complex to explain.
The direct case against Flynn (Judge Sullivan court – Washington DC), where Flynn copped a guilty plea for lying to FBI investigators, has a sentencing predicated on Flynn’s ongoing cooperation in the Eastern District of Virginia (EDVA) case against Bijan Rafiekian and FIG (Flynn Intel Group). However, in a stunning move today the DOJ prosecuting Rafiekian now says it will not call Flynn as a witness; and further the DOJ state they now consider Flynn an “unindicted co-conspirator”.
From court filings (on behalf of Flynn) we find the reason. Michael Flynn refused a demand by the DOJ to testify that the Flynn Group FARA filing was completed with knowingly false information and contained “false statements”.
Michael Flynn refused to testify to this DOJ construct because the claim was not true.

This case against Flynn seems destined to last and last and last.....until he runs out of money and/or sanity. Dirty lawyers and crooked judges! I know I am greatly simplifying the action.
I have taken my eye off the Flynn case, because nothing much ever changes, at least nothing to his benefit. Sort of like poor Mr. Manafort.
I hear Flynn has new lawyers. Let’s hope they bring this cruel political game to a close very soon. It’s got to be hell on his family going though this slow grinding dirge.
I feel manafort was a plant. He knew it and needs watering. He expected to bring trump down quickly and not serve a day. Flynn is not in that same category.
whoa...Flynn asked Sullivan to delay his sentencing, so Flynn could testify in this case. Judge agreed.
Did Flynn have an inkling about what he was suppose to testify to ?
How does this work with Flynn saying his previous lawyers gave false statements to the FBI?

In this article there is a link to the brief filed by General Flynn’s new attorneys. It isn’t very long. I recommend reading it and its footnotes. It makes crystal clear that the Mueller team lawyer’s (DOJ) are trying even harder to destroy Flynn’s reputation irreparably. Thank heavens the Judge saw through this bizarre twist. Flynn, as made abundantly clear in evidence presented in the brief, did nothing illegal or immoral.
From what I read - Flynn was falsely accused of lying by Blasey Ford lawyer whilenthey were spying on him. He actually didn’t know Turks were gov-sponsored. I bet he really didn’t lie to Pence after all.
This is not America where legality can wipe you out for no reason..it is tyranny based on cash, which they take at will..gangstamint, no different than Iran wanting to charge a tax on ships in the gulf, except they just charge us whatever whenever they want and what the people want have been replaced by folks who want your bucks..

I read the article. The actions by the DOJ seem precariously close to entrapment to me.
entrapment /the action of tricking someone into committing a crime in order to secure their prosecution.
DOJ gets Flynn to sign a document that they KNOW is false, but dont tell Flynn. Then use that document to get Flynn to plead guilty to false statements.
