In his latest legal effort to block a state law granting drivers licenses to immigrants living here illegally, Erie County Clerk Michael "Mickey" Kearns will seek an injunction to prevent the state from enacting the Green Light law.

The federal lawsuit, which he filed Monday evening, follows steps he took last month to seek federal court clarification on whether county clerks can be legally compelled to offer the licenses, which Kearns said violates federal law.

"I have been adamant since Day 1 that my objection to issuing driver’s licenses to those unlawfully present in the United States is strongly rooted in the law," he said.
He argues that the Green Light law puts county clerks in a no-win situation. Either clerks violate federal law by issuing the licenses, or clerks violate state law by refusing to issue them, which could potentially result in their removal from office by the governor.

Here in neighboring NJ our turban-clad attorney general is warning county sheriffs not to cooperate with ICE “behind his back”; these dying states’ governments are at war with their American populations - and chasing them out.
This could potentially result in their removal from office by the governor.
Since ICE is not able to prevent the driving, some form of temporary license should be required. This gives physical data and record of individuals who are driving whether or not the community appreciates it. As the citizens are traceable in many ways, is appropriate also for the foreigner. Or is the citizen governed and the foreigner a free agent?

Nope. You’re forgetting Motor Voter. Many states now are automatically registering you to vote when you get or renew your license. Issuing illegals drivers licenses just legitimizes them and provides a pathway for a more egregious crime vote fraud. Giving licenses does not insure identification, as many use fake names and fake documents.
In my neck of the Upstate woods, the only housing going up is government subsidized and low income.
Since no new private sector jobs accompany the low income housing, guess who’s paying for all this great news...
The good news: If Fedzilla does start to deport, at least the licenses will tell ICE where to look...

Erie County attorney is representing Kearns, so it looks like taxpayers.
As long as the fix isn’t in, and as long as the attorney is in it to win it, I’m okay with this.

According to his wiki page, NJ Atty Genl Gubir Grewel is a member of the NJ Asian Pacific American Lawyers Assoc and
the South Asian Bar Assoc of NY.
Wut??
The plain old assimilated AMERICAN Bar Assoc ain’t “inclusive” enough for these Balkanizers??
And he advocates violating Fed law?
He should be disbarred, but it’s unlikely the *South Asian* Bar Assoc of NY will do so.
