President Trump Torches Fox News: ‘They Forgot the People Who Got Them There!’
Breitbart ^ | 07 July 2019 | Joel B. Pollak

President Donald Trump offered an unusually strident criticism of the Fox News Channel on Sunday evening, after the network aired the New York Times‘ defense of its claims about harsh conditions in facilities for migrants at the border.

Trump tweeted:

Fox News anchor Jon Scott had earlier aired a report on FOX Report Weekend that covered the dispute between the president and the Times over its reporting. The Times claimed, in a front-page story Sunday, that conditions inside a facility in Clint, Texas, were the “stuff of nightmares.”

Many of the migrant facilities currently in use were opened during the Obama administration, when there was a surge of illegal aliens crossing the U.S.-Mexico, many of them unaccompanied minors from distant countries in Central America. Part of the impetus for the surge at the time seemed to have been anticipation of the passage of an amnesty law, and President Barack Obama’s policies favoring illegal aliens who had entered the country as minors.

Since then, the surge has continued, fueled by poor conditions in Central America, the rapidly-growing U.S. economy, and the well-publicized efforts of Democrats to thwart every attempt by the Trump administration at border enforcement.

Trump criticized the Times report as “phony and exaggerated”:

When he’s right, he’s right. I caught a whiff of that slant on Fox yesterday.

In the eternal war between Good and evil, Fox has enlisted in the forces of evil.

Trump must be reading my posts...

NBC, MSNBC are Comcast.

Comcast must not be in control of both the telecom infrastructure and the news/media message. Breakup Comcast

Jon Scott is usually on the right/conservative side of things and often pretty ardent about it. But I don’t listen to his every word.

FOX has been doing democrat talking points for a while. FOX uses the night time conservative lineup to subsidize daytime liberal anchors.

Shame on them.

He hits that nail straight on once again.

Give them all a one-way to Spain.

Spain has no welfare system. You either get a job, look for a private charity, live off of relatives or starve. The vast majority of African migrants that land on the Spanish shores head right to France or other parts of Europe that are more migrant friendly.

Spain is the root cause and they sorta speak the same lingo.

Spain had a massive recession and are barely starting to recover. Speaking Spanish doesn't do you much good when so many other native Spanish speakers are competing for the jobs.

Yep. The very first Fox News debate they tried to take out Trump. I despise Baier & Wallace. I hit the remote whenever they come on. Kelly is gone, thank God.

Shame on Fox, to use the first Conservative debate that we had longed for, to attack DJT.

Ditto Breitbart. It is rapidly descending leftward. Heart breaking to see it. I miss Andrew. He must be rolling over in his grave to see how much his prised site has fallen.

I agree with POTUS. With the exception of a few, Fox is almost unwatchable these days. I find a lot better information from independent journalists on places like Youtube. Problem there is the deep state controls it and they keep taking down people with their lame rules. I hope Youtube gets sued to oblivion and beyond.

The trouble with OANN is its name is too close to the “Onan”, and people shy away.

Slant? Folks should take a good look at who’s running the new company now.

None of what’s going on should come as a surprise.

No, thanks.....”I’m sitting this one out”.

Me too. I gave up Faux in 2012 during the run up to the election. I could smell the direction the propaganda was heading then. Since then I’ve gradually let cable go. Nothing but streaming now, and virtually no commercial news (MSN). It changes your perspective for the better. Next step, weening my wife off cable. When our DirecTV contract expires in August it’s out the door.

Yep. The very first Fox News debate they tried to take out Trump.

"Only Rosie O'Donnell" took care of that ploy.

Fox News has several decent opinion shows, but its 'news' is straight out of the Swamp. By "straight out of the Swamp" I mean that its anchors, reporters, and producers live, eat, get up, and go to bed right in the slime of the swamp. It's 'news' stories are the same 'news' stories as those in the Swamp Media. Their stories sometimes might have a slightly more conservative bent than CNN has, but the stories nevertheless are nearly all the same.

When you live, eat, get up, and go to bed in the slime of the swamp, you know nothing else. Anything that might truly counter this has to leave the NY/DC corridor, and move west. I would suggest Omaha, Topeka, or Cape Girardeau if they want to understand America's heartland, of maybe even Jefferson City, Kearney, or Burlington IA, to truly meet the people that matter.

“Fox News has several decent opinion shows”

Yes; their “news” shows suck, and a couple of the opinion shows are watchable. IMO, if not for Hannity and his investigators and panelists, we wouldn’t know half of the truth about the Rat-RINO Swamp. He himself is puffed up and annoying, but I think the content over the last three years has earned him some high honor — a medal or prize.

As for their “news”, I noticed a sharp turn to the left the day Judge Nap returned from re-education camp.
