The U.S. defeated the Netherlands on Sunday to win its second consecutive Women's World Cup title. It’s their fourth overall.
The Americans defeated the Dutch, 2-0, behind goals from Megan Rapinoe and Rose Lavelle. Rapinoe scored on a penalty kick in the 61st minute and Lavelle scored in the 69th minute.
It was a hard-fought battle between the U.S. and the Netherlands. The two squads were tied in the second half as it looked like the Dutch defense had the Americans’ number despite the heavy attack.
A foul was committed on Alex Morgan in the box and after a VAR review and an official review, the U.S. was awarded a penalty kick.
Rapinoe took the kick and finally scored on the Netherlands goalkeeper Sari van Veenendaal.
Minutes later, Lavelle turned up the pressure on the Dutch with some nifty footwork and a big boot to score the Americans’ second goal of the match.

I looked in on the score one time and thought I watching men’s soccer until I heard one of the announcers mention women.
Too many put their limp brainwashed selves before the nation they represent.

First time in my life I wanted a US team to lose. They’re an absolute disgrace to this country and no doubt the left will prop up these sanctimonious obnoxious dykes as heroes of all humanity for the next year.
One refreshing thing I will say is that it’s nice to watch a female sport where the athletes are older than their teens/early 20s. Some of these soccer players are in their thirties.
How many know this team of “champions” lost an exhibition game to s Dallas HS team of boys all under the age of 15?
