Reparations: My 2 Cents (A Black Perspective)

Among the more un-Constitutional acts being proposed by Democrats is one of “reparations”; the idea that some form of compensatory payment needs to be made to the descendants of Africans trafficked to and enslaved in the Americas because of the Atlantic slave trade. Not only is it a personal insult, I believe the proper response by those who oppose it should not be to go on defense. Our opposition has exposed a major flaw in their ideology, and as Real Americans, now is the perfect time to exploit it.

Let’s start with this: if you oppose giving reparations to Americans of African dissent, you don’t need to justify it. The simple answer is NO – period. No need to state reasons that you as a non-slave owner should be exempt from paying reparations, or even point to the ones who sold slaves in the first place. This is merely assuming a defensive position, as many on our side are trained to do.

Next: Do not get the impression that all Black Americans are supporting the notion of reparations. In fact, many find it as insulting as myself (sorry, you won’t see black folk like us interviewed by the fake media echo chamber). But if you can’t accept the fact that all Black people do NOT think alike and all vote in lock step, you can stop reading right here (After all, who’s been telling you that all these years?) The Flaw: By moving reparations to the top shelf of policy proposals, Democrats are showing they have nothing to offer Black Americans and have resorted downright bribery. In short, if you are black, the Democrats would like to pay you to vote for them. Other than that, the other side is racist, bigoted, etc.

Seriously, that’s all they’ve got for what they consider a loyal voting block. The current advantage they have is knowing that any Republican who dares to say no to reparations will be promptly tagged with the R-word and thus will be coached to avoid the subject. This is a recipe for disaster. So how should Real Americans (read Republicans and those wondering why they are still Democrats) respond to this?

Answer: Use this issue to steal black votes from the Democrats and winning them to our side.

Yes, I can hear some of you now: “No matter what happens, they’re still gonna vote Democrat!” As I stated above, if you really believe that, why are you still reading this?

For the rest of you, I firmly believe in this election cycle the “black vote” is for the taking just as it was in 2016 (See: How Black & Brown Tore the Blue Wall Down). Republicans on ALL levels should go directly after black voters using reparations as the opening if/when the subject comes up. You see the Democrats (and each candidate with their media counterpart) will bring it up this election season. The typical Republican response (read: wave white flag) will be expected. But it is this response time where the Republican will have the attention of the black voter:

[paraphrasing]” …my Democrat opponent thinks that waving money in your face is worth their vote – hoping you ignore the illegal immigrant invasion that is ruining your communities, increasing crime, taking jobs and lowering the standard of living in all our communities. In some places, what used to be decent black neighborhoods now look like third world slums with unsanitary conditions that affect everyone – especially those who may live close to these areas. These places are run by Democrats – not Republicans. You live in the greatest country on earth and the Dems are trying to destroy it. You know more than most white people what kind of negative effect it is having on this country. But by proposing reparations, my opponent(s) simply wants to buy your silence…”

While you’re at it, you can throw school-choice, the right to defend yourself, anti-infanticide, and correct restroom selection into the mix for good measure. Tell them how you support these issues and your opponent(s) don’t. Let them see who’s the real bigot. Put THEM on defense for a change. See how fast they try to cut off your mic and/or video feed.

Now, there will be some of those GOP ‘experts’ who read my paraphrasing in horror thinking “…we’d never coach our candidate(s) to say something this… controversial!” or “No, we’re assuming we’re not going to get the black vote (subjects too touchy), and just focus on the mushy middle…”

To those ‘experts’ and the rest of your Republicans, let’s get something straight:

Among the goals of our opposition is to import as many illegals as possible and getting them on the voting rolls and counted in the Census. Most won’t vote (in this round), but they still count on the black vote as part of that coalition to get them over the top (along with vote fraud). It’s been known that peeling off even some of the black vote can turn blue states red. And as the President said when he campaigned in the black churches, what have you got to lose?

Don’t let them get away with “This country sucks”. You don’t see thousands of Black Americans trying to sneak into Africa. In fact, it’s the other way around.

I know firsthand the more and more black Americans are furious over many of the policy issues mentioned in this article; issues the Democrats are supporting. If we do nothing (i.e. write off the black vote as hopeless) we will certainly lose. I will state here that if Republicans start thinking ‘out of the box’ and target black voters directly, they can steal upwards of 20 to 30 percent of black and other voters who would normally vote the other way.

The way to prevent the democrats from tilting the scales in 2020 and beyond is to do the unexpected: go directly after their base, or what base is left. When we are hit with the subject of reparations and/or other “civil rights” issues, are response should be simple:

#WalkAway.

Democrats are showing they have nothing to offer Black Americans

I disagree, they are showing their true colors. They have always pushed Dependence, either by force or by seduction through transfer payments from the productive. The Public School system has been used for years to reinforce their socialistic ideals, entire Government Institutions exist for the Sole Purpose of Enslaving People in Dependence thereby securing their vote.

But what do Black Americans think about the Democrat Aggressive plan to replace the Black vote with their new found and highly coveted migrant peasants from down south?

Come to Los Angeles and see for yourself, most of the Black Community in Los Angeles ain’t there no more, mostly illegal latino’s now

$15 trillion in transfer payments, affirmative action in education, employment, etc. for sixty years? It appears ample ‘reparations’ have already been paid...and it’s time to end all of it!

Why aren’t you in Congress instead of those racist idiots who are trying to keep blacks “on the plantation”?

so, you’re saying that you think your reparations should only be 2 cents?

Great post.

Just my two cents for what it's worth.

Ben Garrison cartoon, explains it best.

tried to make the pic smaller, couldn't do it, via code, or I'm just not grasping how to do it.

Her's how I tried.
