What the media miss when talking about guns
The Washington Post ^ | July 5, 2019 | Richard H. “Dick“ Black, John R. Lott Jr.

The evening before the attack, Nixon was worried that Craddock and another co-worker were dangerous. She talked to her husband, Jason, about whether she should hide a pistol in her handbag. Nixon decided not to do so because the city bans public employees from having permitted concealed handguns at work.

Their unattainable, idiotic agenda trumps everything especially the most vulnerable.

Last month at my church was a big event for children. It was very successful. At that event were four men that helped with escorting and supervising the kids, telling people where to park etc. We were discreetly armed. No one with the exception of the other armed men and our church leaders knew whom was armed. This action was with the full approval of the church.

We were protectors of the innocents.

Unless there is a metal detector, I am armed ALL the time. I am legal in VA and their reciprocity but I will carry anywhere my travels carry me.

It is called ‘concealed carry’ for a reason...<: <: <:

What they miss:

Rationality
Sanity.
Facts.
History.
Believability.
Reality.

Why only four?

At our church we typically have 20-30% of the men carrying and maybe 10% of the women. All concealed.

WELCOME to the ranks of the SHEEPDOGS, those of us who stand between the peaceful flocks & the hungry wolves. = The wolves are always out there & they are always predatory.

Me too, in PA {and VA when I visit}.

Church, shopping, fishing, golfing, dog walking, riding in a vehicle, since I no longer fly, I don't worry about airport "security".

I used to fly for business, logged over 300,000 miles in a single "worst" year of international travel.

Spending a day on a plane is no way to make a living {regardless of the $$$}. I always pitied those airline professionals that flew international for a living. I could only stand that job for 18 months, had to move on. Air travel without a gun is also no way to live.

PA does NOT recognize VA anymore.

VA will not retaliate against these states - I guess it is petty on ‘my part’ but a tit for tat should be in order.

WE also need an ‘outlet’ to let the ‘world’ know who is doing what to who....get enough in PA that get whizzed if they can’t carry in VA, some changes may be made in BOTH jurisdictions.

I ‘love’ PDJT but that last ‘promise’ of reciprocity in ALL STATES sort of went under the rug - EVEN though - I really figured that there was NO WAY that was going to happen.

SURPRISE ME MR PRESIDENT....... at least start some REAL visible action against the ‘cabal’ that tried to unseat you.

We had that crooked bitch, kathy kane as Attny Gen. for a few years, and she made the changes that she could on her own.

Thankfully, she is now in jail, but Shapiro is the new AG and he's not much better.

Sorry.

We had ‘Mr Blackface II’ as Atty Gen for the last couple of terms and one of his first acts as AG was to cut off reciprocity with most ALL other states.

Even McAwful was ‘smart enough’ to realize that wasn’t a good idea BUT we still had to wait for about a year for the GA to meet and shoot it down.

Rs have held a majority in recent years but (I believe) some naysayers have penetrated the R ranks and ‘our’ lead is not only shrinking but some Rs are starting to bend.

VA is one of Bloombergs and MOMs(?) target states.

The only ‘group’ I get behind is Al Bundy & NO MA’AM

NO MA’AM (National Organization of Men Against Amazonian Masterhood/Numb Old Men Anxiously Awaiting Morticians)

That describes me...Unless I have to pass a metal detector, I am legally armed everywhere and always, or just don’t go there...

Had to enter the local court house recently to complete a bit of business so carefully removed all objects I could not take inside...I thought...Security took exception to the P38 I carry on my key ring...Had to take it back to the truck and go thru again...

Maybe they thought I’d assault a can of peaches with it?!

You think that situation is SILLY?? = Let me tell you that about a month ago, I was refused entry into a San Antonio city-owned building with my “PIPE TOOL”, which includes a 1” long pipe-scraper. At that time/place, I was wearing my loaded 9mm pistol, plus 2 loaded magazines & showed my TX CC license to the security personnel.
(I was told that IF I didn’t take the pipe-tool back to the car that I would be arrested BUT that my licensed firearm/ammo was perfectly acceptable to enter “the secured area” with.)
How utterly STUPID is that “city ordinance”??

Note: I’m also a retired LEO & showed my retired credential to the security people, too.

Yours, TMN78247

Pure insanity! So much of “security” now resembles kabuki theater...

BTW...Thanks for your LEO service from a retired FF...

And I return your thanks for my service as a LEO, “smoke-eater, retired”. = You firefighters have more PURE GUTS than we do OR possibly you are just a bit more “nuts” than we POs are??
