Kaepernick is a fool. Quoting without knowing the full content is a bad idea.
There are many now who have already said read the full speech, but for some that just isn't good enough. Many don't have the spare time to sit and read.
I can make this more convenient for those of you. Here is the option to listen instead of reading. Download if you like. These are free in the public domain.
Here is the full text just in case: https://teachingamericanhistory.org/library/document/what-to-the-slave-is-the-fourth-of-july/

I finished this recording some time ago, however, Kaepernick’s faux pas has made this piece of audio much more valuable.
Thank you. I will make it a priority to pick out a quote from this erudite individual’s book for tomorrow’s Quotefall puzzle.
Frederick Douglass was a genius, an ex-slave, a Republican, and a civilized man. And, for what it’s worth, a whole lot blacker than Colin (crybaby) Kaepernick.
“What To The Slave Is The 4th of July?”
How would anyone at this time in our history know? Unless there are some that choose to be, we don’t have any. So why bring it up? It’s a mute point that only separates us more rather than uniting us. And that is the plan of the democrats no matter how they can do it to use diversity as a weapon, not a tool.

Its not about slavery. Its about Marxists and their voluminous Useful idiots.

A day off is a day off.
>>> Kaepernick is a fool.
Of course he’s not a fool. He is exploiting a whole swatch of weak-minded people and getting rich in the meantime.
The fools are the ones being fooled.
Thanks ProgressingAmerica.
History tells us some 600,000 Confederate Soldiers died freeing slaves during the Civil War.
