I would say it was the best speech I’ve heard THIS president give. It was splendid. Couldn’t help but flip the channel from FOX to CNN when it was over to see how they were “taking it” and of course, they had to go off their script of “it will be nothing except more of himself” to “it was just a history lesson”, “have heard other presidents give better speeches”...blah blah...they really didn’t know what to say but they knew they had to cover up their insane comments from the past few days.

I don’t think his speech was political. It was a much needed history lesson. We’re supposed to be united as a common people as Americans, under one law. The left is is dedicated to keeping the country divided.
A jerk on Fox News said that bc Trump mentioned Betsy Ross — among a large group of patriotic Americans that included John Glenn — his address was divisive.
Yes, it was a great speech. I believe only FOX, C-Span, and perhaps CNN (they, of course, griped about the speech). I wonder how many Americans did get to hear it.
