President Donald Trump stuck with a patriotic message during his Fourth of July “Salute to America” speech, steering clear of the political rhetoric many had expected.

I don’t think his speech was political. It was a much needed history lesson. We’re supposed to be united as a common people as Americans, under one law. The left is is dedicated to keeping the country divided.
A jerk on Fox News said that bc Trump mentioned Betsy Ross — among a large group of patriotic Americans that included John Glenn — his address was divisive.
Yes, it was a great speech. I believe only FOX, C-Span, and perhaps CNN (they, of course, griped about the speech). I wonder how many Americans did get to hear it.
They will claim that it was partisan anyway. Difficult to see the truth when you are so filled with anger and hate. But I hope that they prove me wrong.

Trump did not mention himself ONE TIME! Contrast that with the Halfrican, whose every other word was “I - I - I” or “me - me - me”.
The usual, some speculation is passed off as "news" for a few days, then shrugged off as "well, it was just speculation."
Too bad the people are unlikely to wise up to the fact they are being manipulated.

Among all the other canards, today I ran across a rant from a gay New Yorker recalling seeing DJT w/Roy Cohn at regular dinners in the 1980s. Cohn was DJT’s personal lawyer at the time. Ranter said DJT was _obviously_ *in love* with Cohn, a closeted gay who used women as a shield.
I thought: we just had a month in honor of homosexuality. Does this mean POTUS is the first gay President?
I’m in business and I cannot respond to these sorts of things online where my real name is visible. So, besides FR, I am keeping a running document in Word to document my reactions.
It is so frustrating. They are such hypocritical, jealous little children accusing our President of everything they, themselves, are. It’s gas lighting of the worst sort.
Trump is predictable for those with eyes to see and ears to hear.

that’s exactly correct; anyone who saw his Normandy speech knew Trump would make a great, patriotic, congratulatory speech about our great military and it’s tremendous, historic role in founding out country and keeping us free from foreign enemies ...
I do not have cable. PBS has all-star-musical-extravaganze,which has zero to do about America and nothing from the President
