James Monroe had a distinguished record in the Revolutionary War. He crossed the Delaware with General Washington and was badly wounded in the battle of Trenton. He also took part in the battles of Brandywine, Germantown and Monmouth and survived the winter at Valley Forge.
I would like to ask him to explain himself about this tweet.
What is his point on pointing that out?
